My wife and I rode the NYC Century on Sep 10, 2017 (after lots of training).  It was amazing!

When we lived in Boston we cycled the Midnight Marathon, following the path of the Boston Marathon on the night before the race.

We also enjoy cycling the Farmington River Trail and the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail–two great rail trails in our area! Next summer we are planning an overnight mountain biking/camping trip up Johnson Pass near Anchorage, Alaska.
