I was born in Seattle and raised in Alaska, went to school at Utah State University, and then moved to the East Coast, so my life has been all over the USA.  My wife and I met in Boston and were married in Nov 2015.  We enjoy doing a variety of activities together, including cycling, archery, dancing, sailing, camping, painting, skiing, bonsai, playing in the New England snow, and learning new things.  Some of our current interests are the history of whaling in New England, and maritime music, specifically sea shanties.
